Gospel 101

God is already at work all around us!

Can you see it?  Do you sense it? Do you want to join in where God is already working?

Starting in February, all GPC campuses will begin a teaching series through the book of Romans. Then, in March, we’ll launch our Gospel 101 small group campaign to help our whole church family rediscover the joy and power of the gospel.

We want our whole church family to be equipped to learn, live, and share the gospel with our family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and many others.

That’s why we are creating an initiative where everyone is invited, everyone has a place to belong, and everyone can experience God using them to make a difference. That’s what the church is here to do!

Our Gospel 101 small groups will meet for 9 weeks to discuss the weekly sermon messages and the book Gospel 101 by Jeff Dodge. There are two ways to participate (keep reading to learn more):

  • Host a Gospel 101 small group
  • Join a Gospel 101 small group (coming soon)

Books will be available for purchase at all GPC campuses on select weekends in February and exclusive host kits will be provided for all small group leaders to set you up for success.

We can’t wait to see what God will do through this campaign!

Host Registration – Now Open!

To make room for as many adults as possible to participate and to keep group sizes healthy (around 10–12 people), we will need to launch a significant number of new groups – nearly 60 across all 3 GPC campuses!

Group hosts do not need to be teachers—just willing facilitators. Groups may meet in homes or at the church on any day of the week except Wednesday evenings, as space allows.

Host Training

To support hosts, we’ll be offering multiple training opportunities. Hosts can attend one of the following sessions and you can choose the date you prefer when you sign up to host:

  • Sunday, March 8 at 11:15am – Room C5 (Chambersburg)

We also have an online training option available for those of you who aren’t able to attend an in-person meeting.

We want as many people as possible to join one of our Gospel 101 small groups, which is why we have created an exclusive groups page to make it easy for you to find a group that meets near you, on a day that works for you. Registration for those groups is now open. More groups will be added over the next several weeks so keep checking back if you don’t see a group that works for you yet!
