Family Movie Night

Join us to kick-off the holiday season with a free movie night at GPC-Chambersburg, hosted by KidsPoint! Snacks and refreshments will be available in the MPR from 6-7PM, followed by a showing of “Journey to Bethlehem” in the Sanctuary from 7-8:30PM.

Giving Tree Project

Once again, GPC is partnering with local organizations that directly serve our communities through our Giving Tree project. Every campus will have a special Christmas tree decorated with gift tags listing the organization and their specific needs. From crayons to vacuums, gift cards to paper towels, there are so many ways to bless our communities during the holiday season! Trees will be displayed November 23 and all items must be returned by December 15. Participating is simple!

  1. Take a tag
  2. Purchase the item(s)
  3. Return the item(s) WITH the gift tag (so we know who to send it to) to your campus before December 15.

Ornaments 4 Orphans

The PointYM team at GPC-Chambersburg is once again supporting the incredible work of Ornaments 4 Orphans, a fair trade company offering the best Christmas ornaments handmade in the best way. They collaborate with global artisans to create jobs, fight poverty, strengthen families, empower communities, and ultimately prevent vulnerable children from becoming orphans. Starting December 1, stop by the display at the PointYM Hub to spread holiday joy with your purchase! Questions? Contact Cindy at cmagners@grandpoint.church.

PointYM All-Nighter Party

Save the date for this year’s PointYM All-Nighter Party, December 26-27! Students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in this fun all night event that starts at our GPC-Chambersburg campus for worship, then moves on to the Sports Emporium and local bowling alleys before arriving back at GPC. Prices and registration details coming soon!

Christmas Eve at Grand Point Church

The Thrill of Hope | The Weary World Rejoices!
By now, you are probably well acquainted with the weight of this world. You know how it pulls you into a narrow focus – the excruciating pain of loneliness, insignificance, brokenness, rejection, and the long seasons of wondering if it’s always going to be this way. Our hearts are far too easily resigned to disappointment giving way to a weary world.

This Christmas season, we will tell “the story” to a weary world that there is a God who keeps His promises and that those who believe Him will see them fulfilled. The gap between promise and fulfillment stretches us, tests us, and redefines our understanding of hope. As we connect the promises made to a weary world with the reality of those promises fulfilled by Christ, there is no more natural response than, “the Thrill of Hope!”

Join us at one of our Grand Point Church Christmas Eve services to celebrate the hope we have in Jesus!
