The Garden at Grand Point Church

Welcome to the women’s ministry of Grand Point Church! Through several in-person events throughout the year, we invite women ages 14 and over to join us for connection, teaching, and fellowship. Together, we will grow by cultivating faith, staying rooted in love, and flourishing in grace.

No matter where you are in your faith journey, The Garden is a place for you. A place to be seen, known, and encouraged.

What to Expect

Gather your friends and make plans to join us from 6:30-8:30PM for connection, worship, light refreshments, and a message from Emily Weaver on Friday, May 2nd.

Tentative Schedule

6:15PM – Doors Open – refreshments and fellowship
6:50PM – Welcome and Introduction
7:00PM – Worship
7:10PM – Keynote speaker: three sessions with “table talk” time
8:00PM – Small group feature
8:05PM – Next step invitation & closing/fellowship

Suggested Donation

A $10/person donation is suggested to help cover the cost of future events. Payment can be made online (select “Give One Time” and choose “The Garden” from the dropdown menu), or by cash or check made payable to Grand Point Church with “The Garden” in the memo line. Donations may be dropped off at Guest Services at any campus during a weekend service, mailed, dropped off at the church office Monday-Friday from 8AM – 4PM, or brought with you to the event.

Who is this event for?

The Garden is for any woman age 14 and up in our community who would like to attend. You don’t need to attend Grand Point Church to join us!

What time will doors open?

Doors will open at 6PM.

Will there be assigned seating?

Nope! We trust you to find a seat that works best for you and to meet some new friends! We are not reserving tables or assigning seats.

I won’t know my schedule until the day of the event – can I show up as a walk-in?

Absolutely – we would love to have you join us!

When are the other The Garden events this year?

Save the date for August 1st and December 12th! These events will also be held at our Grand Point – Chambersburg campus.

Meet Our Speaker: Emily Weaver

Emily Weaver married her high school best friend, Eric in 2010. They have three Jesus loving children; Emeric, Evan and Ellie who attend Shalom Christian Academy. While Eric and Emily grew up in the same local church as children, the Lord has led them to become committed members of Grand Point Church in Chambersburg, PA since 2022.

Family, church and work life blends well for the Weavers as they raise their children to know Christ in all situations including building homes, managing businesses and even through tragedy. Simple obedience and unwavering faith has led to a limitless desire to honor and share heavenly experiences with others around them and to spur the awareness of God’s deep intimate plan of redemption.

Come hear Emily share how simple obedience and daily abiding with the Lord has cultivated the faith of her family’s deep level of intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ.
