In 2027 Grand Point will take a short-term trip to Honduras with Compassion where you will have the chance to meet some of our sponsored children, visit their Compassion center, and experience firsthand the incredible work God is doing through the local church.

This trip is designed to deepen give you a meaningful glimpse into their daily life, community, and culture. Together, we will serve, encourage, and build relationships alongside Compassion staff and church partners.

Please Note: There are only 30 spots available for this trip. Because we anticipate strong interest, all applicants will go through a review and vetting process before final selections are made. Priority consideration will be given based on the date completed applications are submitted, along with overall trip readiness and ability to fulfill the necessary requirements.

Age Guidelines
Due to the physical and emotional demands of a Church Group Trip, as well as for liability reasons, these trips are not designed for young children. Please note: The minimum age to travel is 13. A parent or legal guardian is required to accompany children ages 13-18.

Special Requirements for Minors: Under Honduran law, children under age 21 who are traveling unaccompanied or with only one parent must have written, notarized permission to travel from the non-traveling parent(s).

  • If notarizing a permission letter in the United States, the letter should be apostilled by the U.S. state registrar where the notary is registered
  • If there is no second parent with legal custody of the child (e.g., the second parent is deceased, one parent has sole custody, etc.), travelers can provide copies of the relevant paperwork such as a court decision, birth certificate naming only one parent, death certificate, etc.
